What you will do
- Service and troubleshoot electro-mechanical actuator systems on naval platforms, including aircraft carriers.
- Perform operational testing and system validation using calibrated test equipment.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals.
- Build, repair, and test wiring harnesses.
- Document technical findings and work history using laptop-based reporting systems.
- Communicate technical findings with engineers and U.S. Navy personnel.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting experience.
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
- U.S. Citizenship required (NOFORN position).
- Ability to work in physically demanding shipyard environments, including climbing ladders and working in confined spaces.
- Basic computer proficiency for reporting and documentation.
