What you will do

• Service and troubleshoot electro-mechanical actuator systems on naval platforms, including aircraft carriers.
• Perform operational testing and system validation using calibrated test equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals.
• Build, repair, and test wiring harnesses.
• Document technical findings and work history using laptop-based reporting systems.
• Communicate technical findings with engineers and U.S. Navy personnel.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting experience.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• U.S. Citizenship required (NOFORN position).
• Ability to work in physically demanding shipyard environments, including climbing ladders and working in confined spaces.
• Basic computer proficiency for reporting and documentation.
