TL;DR
Senior Compliance Analyst (Healthcare Compliance/HIPAA): Maintaining a corporate compliance program through regulatory interpretation, reporting, policy development, audits, and monitoring with an accent on healthcare regulations, HIPAA, and state requirements. Focus on resolving compliance issues, coordinating regulatory relationships, and managing fraud, waste, and abuse activities for Pennsylvania Health & Wellness when applicable.

Location: Remote-MI; must be authorized to work in the United States without employment-based visa sponsorship

Salary: $70,100–$126,200 per year

What you will do

  • Maintain the corporate compliance program through regulatory interpretation, reporting, documentation, and policy development.
  • Respond to information requests and inquiries from state and federal regulatory agencies.
  • Manage ethics and compliance projects, implementations, code of conduct attestations, and remediation activities.
  • Plan and conduct compliance audits, risk assessments, monitoring activities, and training programs.
  • Communicate regulatory requirements to internal and external stakeholders and support health plan relationships with regulatory agencies.
  • For Pennsylvania Health & Wellness, lead fraud, waste, and abuse activities, workgroups, reporting, investigations, and corrective actions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related legal field or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in compliance, privacy, and/or regulatory affairs.
  • Working knowledge of HIPAA and state regulations, with experience in compliance project management.
  • Experience developing compliance policies, procedures, work instructions, audits, and risk assessments.
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future employment-based visa sponsorship.
  • For Pennsylvania Health & Wellness: CFE certification is required.

Nice to have

  • Master’s degree or Juris Doctorate.
  • Experience serving as an interim health plan compliance officer.
