What you will do

• Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies using 3D CAD software.
• Produce detailed engineering drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation.
• Generate innovative concepts and evaluate design options for complex engineering challenges.
• Perform engineering calculations, tolerance stack-ups, and design reviews.
• Support prototype manufacture, testing, and development programmes.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, workshop, and quality teams to ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements

• BEng or MEng degree in Motorsport or Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience designing mechanical components in a high-performance engineering environment.
• Strong proficiency in 3D CAD software.
• Solid understanding of machining, fabrication, and manufacturing methods.
• Knowledge of GD&T and tolerance analysis.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience using CATIA V5.
• Previous experience in motorsport or automotive industries.
• Knowledge of composite materials or lightweight structures.
