What you will do

• Support existing and ongoing media handling projects from a mechanical perspective.
• Evaluate various technologies and provide recommendations backed by detailed analysis.
• Manage mechanical development activities, including cost estimation and identifying manufacturing options.
• Design mechanisms and coordinate with tooling suppliers for parts manufacture.
• Perform design reviews, stress analysis, and assembly tolerance checks to ensure engineering standards.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary engineers to enable system-wide integration of products.

Requirements

• Background in Mechanical Engineering (Graduate level).
• Keen interest in the design of electro-mechanical systems operating under software control.
• Ability to deliver cost-effective designs according to strict specifications and standards.
• Must be based in or be able to work onsite in Dundee, UK.
