What you will do

• Lead a 30+ person team responsible for goods inwards, home and export distribution, and finished goods stock control.
• Oversee daily logistics activities, including recruitment, manpower planning, training, and performance management.
• Ensure strict adherence to Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies, including 6S audits and safety inspections.
• Drive key performance indicators (KPIs) such as on-time delivery, on-time in full, and despatch lead times.
• Manage relationships with subcontractor transport companies, hauliers, and third-party packaging suppliers.
• Utilize SAP for reporting, goods receipting, and managing transport invoice queries.

Requirements

• Previous experience within a manufacturing, logistics, or distribution environment.
• Proven experience managing teams within a high-volume operational department.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and coordinate a team of operators.
• Computer literacy with working knowledge of MS Office and SAP.
• Must be able to work onsite in Wrexham.
