What you will do

• Draft, review, and negotiate diverse commercial agreements including customer, vendor, and collaboration contracts.
• Serve as a strategic legal advisor to sales, operations, and finance leadership.
• Identify legal risks and develop pragmatic mitigation strategies for complex business transactions.
• Manage contract lifecycle processes, including database maintenance and metric-driven reporting.
• Lead digital transformation initiatives such as AI governance and contract automation.
• Educate internal stakeholders on contracting best practices and self-service tools.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school required.
• Admission to the bar in at least one U.S. jurisdiction required.
• 8-10+ years of experience in commercial contract negotiation within life sciences, pharma, or biotech.
• Experience with contract lifecycle management (CLM) platforms and digital repositories.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate contract metrics into process improvements.
• Ability to manage multiple sophisticated negotiations independently.

Nice to have

• Experience with AI-assisted drafting tools and legal technology solutions.
• Familiarity with cross-border contracting, data privacy, and cybersecurity regulations.
• Experience using Salesforce for contract management.
