What you will do

• Provide strategic employment law advice across multiple jurisdictions for internal and external employees.
• Lead complex advisory and contentious employment matters across the entire employee lifecycle.
• Identify company-wide legal issues and implement scalable solutions in partnership with stakeholders.
• Drive alignment across Legal, People, and Operations teams through cross-functional initiatives.
• Establish best practices, governance frameworks, and reusable knowledge resources to improve service delivery.
• Manage external local counsel and oversee complex employment projects across various jurisdictions.

Requirements

• US-qualified lawyer (mandatory).
• Solid experience as a senior legal employment counsel handling advisory and contentious matters.
• Proven track record of leading complex internal and external employee matters independently.
• Experience advising across multiple jurisdictions.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Technological competence with Slack, Notion, CLM tools, and AI tools.

Nice to have

• In-house legal experience.
• Experience in tech or fast-paced startup environments.
• Fluency in multiple languages.
• Previous experience working hirify.globally.
