What you will do

• Lead the drafting, review, and negotiation of complex strategic transactions and licensing agreements.
• Serve as the primary legal point of contact for the global collaboration with Janssen.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of three direct reports within the contracting function.
• Oversee contract lifecycle management systems, policies, and templates.
• Support corporate governance, board matters, and subsidiary management for U.S. and EU entities.
• Collaborate with tax, accounting, and business stakeholders on intercompany arrangements.

Requirements

• 10+ years of relevant legal experience in the life sciences industry.
• J.D. degree from an accredited U.S. law school.
• Licensed to practice law in a U.S. state (New Jersey Bar admission or eligibility required).
• Demonstrated experience leading a contracting function and supervising direct reports.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States.
• Strong understanding of life sciences collaborations and licensing arrangements.
