Salary: $135,000 – $140,000 per year

What you will do

• Drive technical discovery sessions with healthcare organizations to identify modernization opportunities and define solution requirements.
• Design scalable healthcare IT architectures utilizing the Aidbox FHIR platform.
• Translate complex product requirements and clinical workflows into detailed technical specifications.
• Lead cross-functional development teams, coordinating workloads and overseeing end-to-end project delivery.
• Direct the implementation of healthcare interoperability standards including FHIR, HL7 v.2, and C-CDA.
• Mentor junior technical staff, conduct code reviews, and supervise a diverse team of engineers and project managers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, IT, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer.
• Proficiency in Clojure, JavaScript/TypeScript (Node.js, React), Golang, or .NET.
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Redis, and cloud providers (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Knowledge of DevOps tools such as Kubernetes, Helm, and Terraform.
• Strong understanding of healthcare specifications: FHIR, HL7 v.2, C-CDA, LOINC, and SNOMED.

Nice to have

• Experience with observability tools like Sentry, Prometheus, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry.
• Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI.
• Experience with SAST/DAST, SonarCube, or Cypress for code quality.
