Salary: $175,000–$185,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead the design of data warehouses, data lakes, and datamarts, including logical and physical modeling.
• Collaborate with data and cloud engineers to design pipelines for batch and streaming data ingestion.
• Optimize data warehouse performance for high-frequency loads and complex queries.
• Facilitate change control processes and integrate data models with CI/CD pipelines.
• Design and implement enterprise-wide metadata repositories for data discovery.
• Assess requirements from data consumers, analysts, and visualization specialists.

Requirements

• Must be a US citizen or authorized to work in the US (Secret clearance required).
• 10+ years of experience in data warehousing and data architecture.
• Expertise in AWS cloud components (S3, Redshift, Aurora Postgres).
• Experience with Databricks or Palantir Foundry.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Software Engineering.
• Ability to work in a hybrid capacity in Northern Virginia.

Nice to have

• Experience with Palantir Foundry (Ontology, Contour, Quiver, Workshop).
• Integration experience with visualization tools like Tableau, Qlik, or Socrata.
• Experience with data cataloging strategies and implementation.
• 5+ years of system architecture experience, including security roles and IaC.
