What you will do

• Define cloud platform architectural vision aligned to enterprise strategy and operating models.
• Create architecture roadmaps and architectural runways/event horizons to elaborate solution intent.
• Provide architecture specifications for infrastructure platforms and shared services, balancing value, cost, and risk.
• Implement architectural guidance and governance processes, standards, principles, and solution patterns.
• Evaluate technologies and facilitate proof-of-concept trials to support delivery teams.
• Ensure solutions address security, compliance, resiliency, and technical debt mitigation.

Requirements

• Intermediate-level architecture experience performing complex solution-level architectural work under general guidance.
• 6+ years of experience in Telecommunications or Computer Sciences/Enterprise field.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or related field (or equivalent combination of education/experience).
• Experience with enterprise cloud services platforms and successful implementation of highly available, scalable solutions.
• Hands-on experience with automation/orchestration tools and disciplines such as Kubernetes and Ansible (or similar).
• Experience with virtualized/cloud compute platforms (e.g., VMware, AWS, Azure) and network delivery architectures (e.g., NSX, IP Fabric, Direct Connect/ExpressRoute).

Nice to have

• TOGAF/CEA/Certified SOA Architect/SAFe and other architecture or telecom certifications.
• Technical certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, AWS CSAP/CDA, Azure certifications, or VMware VCP/VCAP.
• Telecommunications industry experience and additional job-specific certifications.
