TL;DR
Project Manager (SaaS Implementation): Leading end-to-end software implementation and expansion projects for manufactured-product businesses with an accent on scope, budget, risk, quality, and cross-functional delivery. Focus on coordinating clients, developers, engineers, analysts, consultants, and vendors, while using AI and automation to improve project outcomes.
Location: Karlsruhe, Germany; working hours for EMEA: 08:00–17:00 CET

What you will do
- Lead software implementation and expansion projects from kickoff through closure and client acceptance.
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, budgets, timelines, resources, and risk plans.
- Coordinate developers, engineers, business analysts, consultants, clients, partners, and third-party vendors.
- Manage multiple projects concurrently and proactively mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies.
- Prepare project documentation, status reports, steering committee presentations, and performance metrics using tools such as OpenAir, Salesforce, and Jira.
- Run client meetings and workshops, manage expectations, resolve conflicts, and use AI and automation tools to improve work quality and business outcomes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent industry experience.
- 3+ years of experience managing technical projects, preferably software implementations.
- Experience delivering results to external clients, preferably in a professional services or billable context.
- Experience with complex projects involving multiple vendors and cross-functional teams.
- Excellent written and verbal German communication skills, including communication with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong negotiation, planning, reporting, revenue-impact management, and risk, scope, quality, and budget management skills.
Nice to have
- PMP or similar accreditation.
- Experience with SaaS implementation.
