Sr. Project Manager (Government SaaS)

Location: Remote based in the United States; ability to travel up to 50% of the time.

Annual base salary: $140,000–$160,000, plus eligibility for a discretionary annual bonus.

What you will do

• Lead complex Professional Services implementations from initiation through go-live, including planning, budgeting, staffing, scope management, and change orders.
• Monitor project health, budget burn, risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies, milestones, delivery metrics, and SLA attainment.
• Manage project records, dashboards, workflows, and delivery traceability in Jira, Confluence, GitHub, and configuration repositories.
• Own go-live readiness reviews, customer handoffs to Customer Success and Support, and post-launch lessons-learned reviews.
• Manage customer relationships, escalations, executive steering committees, and customer-side dependencies.
• Coordinate Consultants, Architects, PMO, Cloud Operations, Product, Support, Partners, and counterpart project managers across joint programs.

Requirements

• At least 5 years leading implementations of government enterprise software or platform-based solutions for Tier-1 government clients.
• At least 5 years leading complex projects with $1M+ budgets, 12+ month durations, and multiple government departments or stakeholder groups.
• Experience managing multiple complex projects, project budgets, scope discussions, technical issues, and competing client demands.
• Working proficiency with Jira and Confluence, including boards, dashboards, saved filters, and project workflows.
• Strong technical literacy with enterprise software, configuration repositories, workflow diagrams, and formal project management tools.
• Technical BA/BS or similar degree, strong communication skills, and ability to work with CxO-level stakeholders.

Nice to have

• PMP certification or equivalent project management expertise.
• Knowledge of permitting and licensing.
