What you will do

• Own the end-to-end privacy analysis for new jurisdiction launches using AI-assisted workflows.
• Embed privacy-by-design into the product development lifecycle by partnering with Engineering.
• Design and implement lawful cross-border data transfer mechanisms such as SCCs and transfer impact assessments.
• Build and maintain core privacy artifacts including DPIAs, records of processing, and breach-response playbooks.
• Lead responses to data subject rights requests (DSARs) in coordination with internal teams.
• Provide clear, business-ready guidance to leadership on privacy risk and compliance strategy.

Requirements

• 4+ years of privacy and data-protection legal experience with hands-on application of GDPR and US state privacy laws.
• Active US bar admission and a JD from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Proven AI fluency with experience designing AI-assisted legal processes.
• Experience counseling Product and Engineering teams on privacy-by-design and data flows.
• Familiarity with cross-border transfer mechanisms and adequacy analysis.
• Ability to operate with ownership and limited oversight in a fast-moving environment.
