Location: Hybrid: Must work in the office a minimum of three days per week at one of the following locations: Addison, TX; Bellevue, WA; Durham, NC; Emeryville, CA; or Reston, VA.

Salary: $191,000 – $293,000

What you will do

• Provide strategic advice on U.S. employment issues, including recruiting, hiring, performance management, and wage/hour compliance.
• Oversee internal workplace investigations regarding harassment, discrimination, and policy violations.
• Manage pre-litigation and litigation matters in coordination with outside counsel.
• Draft and negotiate employment documents, such as offer letters and separation agreements.
• Ensure compliance with federal contractor obligations, including OFCCP, VEVRAA, and Section 503.
• Advise on the legal use of AI tools in recruiting and employment practices.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of relevant employment law experience in a law firm or in-house legal department.
• JD from an accredited institution.
• Active and in good standing in at least one U.S. state bar.
• Strong knowledge of FLSA, ADA, FMLA, Title VII, and state equivalents.
• Experience conducting workplace investigations and managing federal contractor compliance.
