What you will do
- Translate national market access strategies into regional and account-specific plans and execute them effectively.
- Identify and resolve regional funding, reimbursement, and access barriers impacting the Napp portfolio.
- Develop and maintain relationships with regional healthcare decision-makers, ICBs, payers, and hospital stakeholders.
- Negotiate and manage contracts, pricing agreements, and volume-based arrangements with healthcare organizations.
- Analyze patient pathways and treatment journeys to implement initiatives that optimize healthcare resource utilization.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Key Account Managers (KAMs) and Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs) to develop integrated account plans.
Requirements
- Experience in hospital-focused pharmaceutical roles involving rare diseases, specialty medicines, or high-cost therapies.
- Proven track record of successfully influencing access and adoption within complex healthcare systems.
- Valid Driving License and ABPI Qualification (or willingness to obtain within the required timeframe).
- Comprehensive knowledge of the UK and Ireland healthcare systems, including NICE, SMC, NCPE, and HTA processes.
- Strong negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder relationship management capabilities.
- University degree in Life Sciences, Pharmacy, Business, Health Economics, or a related discipline (Preferred).
Nice to have
- Postgraduate qualifications in Health Economics, Market Access, or Public Health.
- Direct experience in healthcare contracting within ICBs or equivalent healthcare organizations.
- Experience supporting product launches and reimbursement initiatives.
