What you will do

• Own the end-to-end technical relationship for a strategic Global Account in financial services, from discovery through to ongoing expansion.
• Build and deliver solution architectures and executive presentations that align platform capabilities with FSI data and AI priorities.
• Design and lead proof of concept (PoC) engagements covering risk analytics, fraud detection, and AI/ML workloads.
• Translate complex regulatory and technical requirements into practical, production-ready Snowflake solutions.
• Collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Support teams to resolve blockers and accelerate customer adoption.
• Mentor junior Solution Engineers to elevate the technical standard of the global accounts practice.

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in pre-sales solution engineering, technical consulting, or data engineering in enterprise B2B tech.
• Deep understanding of FSI data use cases, including risk management and regulatory reporting (Basel, MiFID II, GDPR).
• Hands-on expertise with cloud data platforms and proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Experience with data engineering tools commonly used in FSI, such as dbt, Spark, or Kafka.
• Proven ability to engage credibly with C-level executives (CDOs, CTOs, CIOs) at global institutions.
• Experience using AI and LLM-based tools in technical workflows.

Nice to have

• Direct experience selling to or working within tier-1 banks, insurers, or global asset managers.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake Cortex AI, Snowpark, and Native Apps.
• Familiarity with legacy platform migrations from Teradata, Oracle, or Hadoop.
• Knowledge of real-time data architectures and event-driven platforms in regulated environments.
• Background in data mesh, data product design, or enterprise data governance frameworks.
