TL;DR

Engineer (Hardware and Software): Engineer and implement hardware and software solutions for complex part or module failures and system issues in the China install base with an accent on multidisciplinary problem solving and collaboration across teams. Focus on diagnosing engineering principles, developing creative solutions in ambiguous environments, and providing 4th line support to regional technical teams.

What you will do

• Engineer and implement hardware and/or software solutions for complex part or module failures and system issues in the China install base.
• Collaborate with local part supply centers, strategic sourcing & procurement, and Customer Support sectors.
• Interface with hirify.global development and D&E Field teams to exchange knowledge and solutions.
• Provide 4th line support to regional technical teams.
• Contribute to building trust between hirify.global and customers.

Requirements

• Location: Must be based in Beijing, China and work onsite.
• Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Robotics, Systems and Control, or Applied Physics.
• Fluency in English and Chinese preferred.
• Ability to access controlled technology as per United States Export Administration Regulations prior to starting work.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with electronics domains including mains, safety, power, high voltage, EMC, PCB, FPGA, uC, PLC, and hardware-software interfaces.
• Knowledge in optics, sensors, lasers, opto-mechanics, and data analysis tools such as MATLAB and Python.
• Experience with mechanical design, 3D CAD modeling, FEM analysis, and Siemens NX.
• Proficiency in MATLAB/SIMULINK, LabView, Linux, and Python for mechatronics applications.
