What you will do

  • Design and perform electromagnetic simulations for electric motors.
  • Define materials and manufacturing requirements in collaboration with the production site.
  • Establish criteria for electromagnetic constraints, assembly, and design.
  • Monitor design status to ensure all mechanical and electromagnetic requirements are met.
  • Optimize e-motor design regarding thermal, dynamic, and NVH properties.
  • Review mechanical designs and manufacturing drawings.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or diploma in electrical or mechanical engineering.
  • 3-5 years of experience in electromagnetic simulation of motors within the automotive industry.
  • Expertise in FEM-simulation tools such as Maxwell, ANSYS/MotorCAD, JMAG, RMxpert, Simplorer, or Matlab/Simulink.
  • Deep knowledge of motor components, including lamination, magnets, rotors, and windings.
  • Experience with cooling systems for electric motors and inverters.
  • Excellent English proficiency in both writing and speaking.
