What you will do

• Own the architecture and delivery of multi-tenant file and block storage services from the data path to the control plane.
• Design storage solutions for AI IO patterns, focusing on metadata-heavy workloads and high sustained throughput for GPUs.
• Implement storage as a first-class Kubernetes citizen using CSI drivers, dynamic provisioning, and snapshots.
• Utilize high-performance technologies including RDMA, GPU Direct Storage, RoCE, InfiniBand, and SPDK.
• Drive system reliability, durability, and observability using comprehensive telemetry and metrics.
• Set the technical bar by leading design reviews and mentoring senior engineers.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in storage systems, database internals, or infrastructure engineering.
• Proven track record of building and shipping storage or database products at scale.
• Expertise in systems programming languages: Rust, C++, or Go.
• Strong experience with Kubernetes (controllers, operators, CRDs, and CSI).
• Must be a U.S. person (Citizen, Green Card holder, refugee, or asylee) to comply with U.S. Government export regulations.
