What you will do

• Build large-scale, real-time services and applications leveraging massive datasets.
• Develop tooling, libraries, and frameworks to support security and data platform initiatives.
• Productionize prototypes into reliable internal tools and platform capabilities.
• Collaborate with engineering and product teams to design and implement scalable solutions.
• Maintain data pipelines, messaging systems, databases, and caching layers.
• Partner with Machine Learning Engineers and Security Researchers to realize security outcomes.

Requirements

• Must be based in the United States
• 5+ years of software engineering experience building distributed systems.
• Proficiency in object-oriented programming, specifically Go.
• Experience with at least one cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Familiarity with message queue technologies (e.g., Kafka, Kinesis) and databases (e.g., Cassandra, BigTable).
• Strong understanding of distributed systems concepts like scalability, fault tolerance, and reliability.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with gRPC, REST, and data serialization (Protobuf, MessagePack).
• Experience with containerized services in Kubernetes.
• Understanding of Internet protocols and standards.
• Security domain knowledge.
