Maintenance Engineer

Location: Utrecht, Netherlands, with extensive travel to customer sites in Middelburg, Netherlands; travel may reach up to 90% of working time.

What you will do

• Travel to customer sites to perform preventive maintenance and technical service activities.
• Assist with maintenance activities that improve equipment performance and reliability.
• Support operators during production to maintain smooth and efficient line performance.
• Participate in equipment installation, commissioning, and service activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve customer operations and service delivery.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe working environments while following occupational health and safety procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma, vocational qualification, or technical diploma focused on hands-on mechanical, electrical, or industrial work.
• Ability to travel up to 90% of the time.
• Growth mindset and willingness to learn technical skills through on-the-job and classroom training.
• Proactive attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and a safety-first mindset.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with customers and colleagues.
• Ability to read electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics is preferred.
