Mechanical Technician

What you will do

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery and production installations.
• Investigate mechanical malfunctions, identify root causes and restore equipment to optimal working condition.
• Disassemble, repair, overhaul and replace mechanical components and equipment.
• Build, modify, adjust, convert, commission and test machine and construction components.
• Inspect machinery, maintain technical documentation and support operators with troubleshooting.
• Contribute to improvements in equipment reliability, safety and production efficiency.

Requirements

• Technical MBO+ or HBO education in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or a similar field.
• Experience in mechanical maintenance or a similar technical role.
• Good mechanical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to read technical drawings, diagrams and manuals.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a practical, accurate and responsible approach.
• Proactive and safety-conscious mindset, with adherence to safety, quality and environmental standards.
