What you will do

• Develop control plane services in Go for provisioning, tenancy, quota, and lifecycle policies.
• Optimize the file system data path, focusing on NFS reliability and IO performance for AI pipelines.
• Implement Kubernetes CSI driver features including dynamic provisioning, resize, and snapshots.
• Enhance observability of the storage stack via telemetry, metrics, and dashboards.
• Debug and resolve complex production issues in high-performance distributed systems.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with compute, platform, and infrastructure teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 6-10 years of experience building storage systems, distributed systems, or infrastructure services.
• Deep expertise in NFS/POSIX semantics, block volume services, and storage data path optimization.
• Proficiency in Go (strongly preferred), Rust, or C++.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes controllers, operators, CRDs, and CSI.
• Requirement: Must be a U.S. person (Citizen, Green Card holder, etc.) due to export control compliance.

Nice to have

• Experience with distributed storage stacks like Ceph/RBD, Lustre, GPFS, BeeGFS, WEKA, or DAOS.
• Knowledge of high-performance data paths: RDMA, GPUDirect Storage, RoCE, or InfiniBand.
• Experience with CockroachDB, Temporal, or gRPC/Protobuf service design.
• Familiarity with ClickHouse, Prometheus, and Grafana for telemetry pipelines.
