Salary: $180,000 – $210,000

What you will do

• Design, develop, and own production-quality REST APIs and backend microservices for Azure hirify.global Files.
• Build end-to-end API functionality, including implementation, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Create cloud-native microservices using Docker, Kubernetes, and modern CI/CD pipelines.
• Integrate database technologies like PostgreSQL or MongoDB for schema-aware service access.
• Collaborate with architects and product management to deliver scalable and secure cloud-service capabilities.
• Perform root cause analysis on production issues to improve reliability, scalability, and performance.

Requirements

• 4-8 years of experience building production backend services or cloud-native platforms.
• Proficiency in at least one language: Go, C++, or C#.
• Experience developing REST APIs and building microservices throughout the full SDLC.
• Practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes (engineering depth beyond administration).
• Experience with PostgreSQL or MongoDB for application development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.

Nice to have

• Experience building and operating cloud-native distributed systems in Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Proficiency in Python for automation and CI/CD integration.
• Knowledge of React, TypeScript, or message brokers such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Experience with AI-assisted development tools for productivity improvement.
