What you will do

• Lead new product process design and implementation for power products, including UPS systems and DC power supplies.
• Conduct process simulations, feasibility studies, and risk assessments to optimize production workflows and improve OEE.
• Apply DFM/DFA methodologies to identify potential manufacturing issues early and recommend modifications for cost reduction.
• Lead root cause analysis for production issues using tools like FMEA and Six Sigma to implement corrective actions.
• Oversee selection and validation of manufacturing equipment for power electronics, such as PCB fabrication and soldering.
• Mentor junior engineers and production staff on best practices in manufacturing processes and lean principles.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 15+ years of hands-on experience in manufacturing process design for power products (UPS, DC power systems).
• Extensive expertise in DFM/DFA and power electronics manufacturing techniques.
• Proficiency in CAD software (Creo, SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and simulation tools (Arena, FlexSim).
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin required.
• Experience with lean manufacturing principles, Kaizen events, and ERP systems (SAP).
