Electric Drive Design Engineer (Manufacturing)

Location: Must work onsite five days a week in Qingdao, China

What you will do

• Lead the development, integration, and validation of electric drive system and component solutions for NTI and NPI programs.
• Design powertrain system architecture, including motor control, converter, and PDU integration.
• Manage high-voltage electrical installations for earthmoving products.
• Translate Voice of Customer (VOC) into Critical Customer Requirements (CCR) and develop technical specifications.
• Perform DFMEA and lead system and component design review meetings.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams on CPPD and APQP activities and lead L4 on-machine performance tuning.

Requirements

• Engineering degree.
• Proven expertise in powertrain system architecture and high-voltage electrical installations.
• Proficiency in DFMEA and Design for Manufacturability (DFM) guidelines.
• Experience in product testing, troubleshooting, and manufacturing engineering.
• Location: Required to work onsite in Qingdao, China.
