What you will do
- Lead technical engagements for submarine customers, including Open Cable tenders, RFPs, and solution design.
- Design and validate submarine and terrestrial network solutions, including pricing and cost models.
- Partner with Product Management, R&D, and Sales to influence product evolution globally.
- Support hyperscaler connectivity opportunities using expertise in optical transport and cloud networking.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor to customers and mentor internal Systems Engineers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in DWDM, optical transport technologies, and Layer 0 networking.
- 5+ years of experience in submarine networking, including SLTE/SIE solutions.
- Expertise in Open Cable systems, OTN, IP networking, and link budgeting.
- Knowledge of 100G/400G/800G+ coherent technologies and hyperscale networking.
- Must be based in Singapore and willing to travel approximately 30%.
Nice to have
- Master's degree.
- Experience with consortium submarine upgrade projects.
- Knowledge of Submarine Solutions.
- Experience with product pricing and commercial modelling.
- Familiarity with Generative AI prompting and AI-enabled workflows.
