What you will do

• Provision, monitor, and maintain hardware, software, and network systems in new data centers.
• Perform remote server administration via IPMI/BMC, including provisioning, monitoring, and firmware updates.
• Execute network configuration tasks for greenfield deployments and brownfield migration activities.
• Manage remote contractors for datacenter installations, rack-and-stack, and hardware upgrades.
• Develop automation tools using Python and agentic AI to reduce operational toil and admin overhead.
• Plan and implement server installations, focusing on power, cooling, security, and cable management.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Center Operations, SRE, Linux Systems Administration, or Network Engineering.
• Experience with optical transport technologies such as CWDM/DWDM.
• Proficiency with configuration management tools like Saltstack, Chef, Puppet, or Ansible.
• Knowledge of network protocols, topologies, and enterprise architecture.
• Experience writing Python or Bash scripts for internal tools and workflow improvements.
• Must be based in Singapore (Hybrid).

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Understanding of BGP and anycast routing.
• Working knowledge of network OS such as Juniper Junos, Cisco IOS/NX-OS, Arista EOS, or SONiC.
• Professional network certifications (JNCIP, CCNP, etc.) or Linux certifications.
• Experience managing remote contractors and using JIRA for program management.
