What you will do

• Assist with IP and optical network capacity planning, traffic growth analysis, and demand forecasting.
• Analyze network performance metrics such as utilization, throughput, latency, and error rates.
• Build and maintain technical planning models using advanced Excel functions, pivot tables, and macros.
• Support the development of network topology models for routers, links, and optical paths.
• Evaluate network expansion scenarios, upgrade options, and cost/performance trade-offs.
• Support the installation, testing, and setup of physical and virtual network hardware (firewalls, routers, switching).

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Networking, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel for technical quantitative analysis.
• Solid understanding of IP networking fundamentals (Layer 2/3, routing, switching, OSPF, BGP).
• Foundational knowledge of optical networking, fiber types, and DWDM systems.
• Experience working with large datasets and performing quantitative analysis.
• Location: Must be based in Debrecen or Budapest, Hungary

Nice to have

• Experience with analysis tools such as Power BI, SQL, or Python.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot or similar AI tools to improve productivity.
• Exposure to network monitoring or inventory tools.
