TL;DR

Claims Field Consultant (Insurance): Managing a portfolio of insurance claims up to £50,000 with an accent on remote claims management and on-site building damage assessments. Location: Remote (Central Scotland); however, frequent travel to sites in Halifax, Leeds and South Wales is required for events and training.

What you will do

• Proactively manage customer visits and remote claims to deliver effective outcomes.
• Conduct on-site building scoping and damage assessments to validate claims.
• Create detailed repair schedules and analyze data from site inspections, photos, and videos.
• Identify and action-plan for customer vulnerabilities aligned with Health & Safety controls.
• Collaborate with Hybrid Claim Owners and suppliers to ensure maximum momentum toward claim resolution.

Requirements

• Full and current driving licence.
• Must be based in Central Scotland to perform home visits and site work.
• General insurance claims experience with a deep understanding of policies and handling philosophies.
• Strong knowledge of building construction techniques and common causes of failure/defects.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety requirements for site work.
• Insurance claims qualifications (CII/CILA) or a willingness to undertake them.
