What you will do

• Operate and maintain critical MEP infrastructure, including chillers, cooling towers, UPS, switchgear, and generators.
• Ensure site safety and environmental compliance according to local and regional health and safety requirements.
• Perform daily inspections and routine maintenance to proactively identify and resolve facility issues.
• Write and execute MOPs, SOPs, and EOPs to streamline data center operations.
• Coordinate scheduled system shutdowns and manage spare parts inventory to minimize downtime.
• Support commissioning efforts through equipment startup witnessing and functional testing.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or 2+ years of hands-on facilities experience (data center experience preferred).
• Knowledge of mechanical/electrical engineering principles and critical systems documentation.
• Experience with Building Management Systems (BMS) and PLC-based control systems.
• Location: Must be based in or be able to work onsite in Memphis, Tennessee, United States.
• Availability: Must be able to work flexible shifts providing 24/7 coverage, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs, work at heights (up to 100 ft), and operate in extreme outdoor environments.
