Salary: $205,000 - $230,000 USD

What you will do

• Define the long-term roadmap for external-facing APIs to provide a competitive edge for carriers.
• Strategize the evolution of APIs alongside the CoreCONNECT platform to enable extensible, differentiated experiences.
• Represent the company as a thought leader in industry working groups shaping IRI Digital First for Annuities standards.
• Engage deeply with carriers and distributors to identify and solve ecosystem friction points.
• Author clear, actionable specifications for complex and highly configurable API workflows.
• Partner with engineering and professional services to deliver a high-performance, developer-friendly API layer.

Requirements

• Experience owning a product within an enterprise software market with high-touch direct sales.
• Background in highly concentrated enterprise markets such as Insurance, Fintech, or Healthtech.
• API-first mindset with experience defining technical requirements for developers and system integrators.
• Proven track record of transforming vague market opportunities into concrete, successful products.
• Based in the US/Americas.

Nice to have

• Domain expertise in the annuity lifecycle, distribution channels, and carrier operations.
• Experience building PaaS/Platform "Lego block" style software.
• Prior involvement with industry standards bodies like IRI, ISO, or ACORD.
