What you will do

• Manage end-to-end software (audio algorithms) and firmware release cycles for the wider engineering teams.
• Act as the primary technical liaison for stakeholders to ensure transparent updates and alignment.
• Drive technical project management, overseeing critical priorities, timelines, and resourcing.
• Establish and refine system workflows to facilitate efficient and dependable software deployments.
• Influence and drive DevOps infrastructure to maintain high-availability CI/CD pipelines.
• Manage and mentor technical talent, promoting a culture of professional development and collaboration.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in embedded software and/or firmware development, preferably with audio or real-time systems.
• 5+ years of technical project management experience using Scrum/Agile.
• Proven experience deploying software products in production environments relating to Linux (Yocto) and Android.
• Solid understanding of systems architecture, version control, and release management.
• Must be based in or be able to work onsite in San Jose, CA for 2-3 days per week.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organizational abilities.

Nice to have

• Background in DevOps tools for embedded software or software distribution processes (CI/CD, automated testing).
• Leadership experience in cross-functional settings across different timezones.
• Experience with technical management of both Hardware and Software products.
• PMP or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer certification.
