What you will do

• Manage a group of software QA, automation, and DevOps engineers, overseeing budget planning, staffing, and career development.
• Define team roles and set the strategy for test coverage, automation frameworks, and CI/CD lab infrastructure.
• Establish and own QA standards, metrics, reporting, and the bug review process.
• Lead software risk identification, tracking, and mitigation across multiple programs.
• Collaborate with software engineering, system test, programs, and information security to align quality goals.
• Coordinate work within an Agile environment, managing scope, scheduling, and resourcing.

Requirements

• BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of software engineering experience with a strong background in software quality, test automation, and/or DevOps/CI-CD.
• 2+ years in a supervisory or technical lead role managing a technical team.
• Proficiency with modern CI/CD tooling (Git/GitLab, containerization) and Linux environments.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (Green Card holder), or asylee/refugee status for ITAR compliance.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance.

Nice to have

• Advanced degree in a technical field.
• Experience testing embedded, robotics, UAS, or other safety-critical software.
• Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) environments.
• Experience with AI-assisted development and test tooling.
