What you will do

• Build and own fraud detection capabilities for Stytch’s fraud platform on Twilio.
• Implement complex signal collection utilizing browser and device internals to identify bad actors.
• Partner with Product and Engineering leadership to translate customer needs into technical plans.
• Collaborate across Twilio and Stytch teams to align architecture and integrate platform capabilities.
• Drive key technical decisions through design docs, code reviews, and deep technical ownership.
• Improve production resilience through strong observability and incident response.

Requirements

• 6+ years experience in designing, building, and operating production systems.
• Expertise in C or C++.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent industry experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work non-standard hours, including on-call rotation, weekends, and holidays.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with JavaScript, Go, and WebAssembly.
• Experience with reverse engineering, browser automation, or botting prevention.
• Offensive or defensive security software engineering experience.
