What you will do

• Architect, design, and implement backend services and the core API powering data processing.
• Develop high-performance code primarily using Scala.
• Define and promote technical design and coding standards for the platform and product roadmaps.
• Optimize product architecture through direct improvements and the creation of internal tools.
• Collaborate with product and executive teams to scope and shape new features and prototypes.

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience in Software Engineering.
• Must be based in the United States.
• Experience designing and maintaining backend APIs, preferably in a team lead role.
• Production experience or strong demonstrated interest in modern functional programming.
• Deep knowledge of data structures, database optimization, cloud infrastructure, and message queues.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
