What you will do

• Build and test embedded firmware and software for high-speed SDRs, imaging pipelines, and real-time digital feedback loops.
• Design and optimize deterministic, low-latency software, including device drivers and Linux kernel modules.
• Architect real-time execution strategies across Linux and RTOS environments to ensure system scalability and throughput.
• Develop orchestration layers coordinating GPUs, FPGAs, and custom electronics for synchronized quantum control operations.
• Rapidly prototype and iterate using Rust, Python, C/C++, and CUDA.
• Collaborate with quantum theorists and hardware engineers to translate control flows into production-ready code.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of relevant postgraduate professional experience.
• Proficiency in C++, Python, Rust, or Go, and experience with NVIDIA CUDA toolchains.
• Knowledge of computer architecture, signal processing, algorithm development, or distributed systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for large-scale systems.
• Must be based in or able to work from Boulder, CO or Austin, TX.
