What you will do

• Drive strategic cost reduction initiatives with the supply base to achieve quarterly targets.
• Lead cross-functional projects to resource or dual-source critical materials to mitigate production risks.
• Collaborate with Design Engineering and Program teams to implement global sourcing strategies for new products.
• Utilize advanced reporting tools to evaluate supplier forecasting, material float, and buffer stock agreements.
• Cultivate relationships with global suppliers and conduct executive performance reviews.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in purchasing, direct procurement, and commodity management.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering (BSEE/BSME) or Business with technical experience.
• Advanced expertise in Excel, Google Sheets, SmartSheets, and ERP systems like Oracle or Agile.
• Proven capability in negotiating pricing, supply agreements, and statements of work.
• Must be based in or able to work from Westminster, CO or Dayton, OH (hybrid 4 days per week).

Nice to have

• Experience as an internal super-user for analytics systems such as Cognos or DOMO.
• Background managing complex electronic or mechanical manufacturing commodities in a global environment.
