What you will do

• Build and cultivate strong supplier partnerships to ensure cost competitiveness and risk mitigation.
• Develop and execute commodity strategies to ensure supply security and competitive market positioning.
• Lead sourcing initiatives, supplier negotiations, and contract discussions to achieve business objectives.
• Monitor market trends, pricing movements, and supply risks to provide actionable insights.
• Maintain procurement and ERP systems (SAP), managing supplier records and material master data.
• Collaborate with R&D and Operations to identify alternative materials and cost-reduction opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or Supply Chain Management.
• 3+ years of procurement, sourcing, or supply chain experience, preferably in manufacturing.
• Proficiency with SAP, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Must be based in or able to work from Highland Heights, KY or Claremont, NC.

Nice to have

• Experience supporting commodity management or supplier development.
• Professional certifications such as CPSM, C.P.M., or CPIM.
