What you will do

• Manage the full lifecycle of software procurement, from requirements gathering and vendor evaluation to contract negotiation and renewal.
• Partner with Engineering, IT, Security, Finance, and Legal teams to develop sourcing strategies and evaluate technology solutions.
• Own the end-to-end RFI, RFP, and RFQ processes for software and strategic indirect purchases.
• Lead negotiations for NDAs, SOWs, MSAs, and software licensing agreements before business initiation.
• Analyze software and indirect spend to identify consolidation opportunities and maximize value.
• Monitor software market trends and licensing models to proactively identify risks and cost optimization initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in software procurement, strategic sourcing, or vendor management.
• Experience negotiating software licensing agreements, SaaS subscriptions, and cloud services.
• Strong analytical skills for evaluating spend data, software utilization, and supplier performance.
• Excellent communication skills for effective cross-functional collaboration.
• Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).

Nice to have

• Experience managing enterprise software procurement in a high-growth technology or manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with software asset management (SAM), SaaS management platforms, or ERP systems.
• Knowledge of software licensing models and vendor risk or compliance processes.
