What you will do

• Develop embedded firmware and kernel/user mode device drivers for networking devices.
• Integrate drivers with Linux and AUTOSAR communication stacks to enable hardware feature utilization.
• Architect, implement, and test device drivers integrated into the hirify.global SDK.
• Develop debug and test utilities and implement automated unit/system testing.
• Ensure strict adherence to Functional Safety standards and industry best development practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software, or a related field.
• 6+ years of professional experience in software development.
• Proficiency in C/C++ programming language.
• Deep knowledge of Operating Systems, Kernels, and device drivers (Linux, QNX, or RTOS).
• Experience with hardware integration, specifically for communication devices like Ethernet.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience with AUTOSAR Communication Stack and MCAL.
• Knowledge of safety-critical qualification methods like MISRA, ASPICE, and ISO26262.
• Familiarity with networking protocols such as TCP/IP, PCIe, Serdes, and SR-IOV.
• Experience with Yocto build systems, ARM processors, and bootloaders like uboot.
• Proficiency in Python.
