What you will do

• Translate customer use cases into scalable embedded solutions
• Design, develop, and validate end-to-end applications from concept through production
• Build prototypes to showcase new silicon capabilities
• Debug complex hardware/software issues using industry tools
• Collaborate with Product, Systems teams, and early-access customers to influence product direction and drive adoption
• Create application examples, reference designs, and technical collateral
• Optimize systems for performance, power, and reliability

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s in EE, CE, CS or related with 7+ years experience
• Strong embedded software development in C/C++ on microcontrollers (bare-metal/RTOS)
• Proven end-to-end embedded systems delivery
• Hands-on hardware/software debugging
• RTOS (e.g., Zephyr) and/or Linux experience
• Embedded interfaces: SPI, I2C, UART, DMA, interrupts, timers
• Edge AI/embedded ML deployment and inference on constrained devices
• Ability to work in Austin, TX (hybrid)

Nice to have

• Embedded security: crypto, secure boot, TrustZone, tamper detection
• Motor control (FOC, power electronics)
• Embedded vision/camera pipelines
• DevOps, CI/CD, hardware-in-the-loop testing
• Python scripting, silicon bring-up, multi-core MCUs (ARM/RISC-V)
• Mentoring or customer enablement experience
