What you will do

• Lead a team of software development engineers building customer-facing Console experiences for all RDS and Aurora engines across all AWS regions.
• Partner with product and UX teams to translate customer needs into intuitive and compelling interfaces.
• Drive operational excellence and ensure high availability of Console services at scale.
• Hire, mentor, and develop engineering talent while raising the bar on technical quality.
• Collaborate across organizational boundaries with engine, control plane, and AWS Console platform teams.

Requirements

• Deep knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle.
• Proven experience in engineering team management.
• Extensive experience in software engineering.
• Experience leading the definition and development of multi-tier web services.
• Experience partnering with product and program management teams.
