Technology Operations Senior Director (AI)

Location: New York City, hybrid

Salary: $143,000–$179,000 USD annually, with potential incentive compensation.

What you will do

• Develop and execute the strategic vision for the Technology Operations organization.
• Lead, guide, and mentor supporting engineers while building a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement.
• Define operational OKRs and success metrics, including MTTR, auto-resolution rates, and team efficiency.
• Drive self-service diagnostics, remediation tools, AI-enabled triage, and auto-healing capabilities.
• Partner with Commercial, Product, and Engineering leadership on reliability, incident management, change and release management, and service improvement.
• Contribute to disaster recovery, business continuity, regulatory compliance, and executive management of major incidents.

Requirements

• Strong leadership, team management, communication, influencing, and strategic decision-making skills.
• Experience managing multiple workstreams involving business-critical systems in a fast-paced environment.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of cloud services and observability platforms, such as AWS.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays when necessary and participate in on-call coverage for key events and major incidents.
• Knowledge of sports or experience in regulated industries is advantageous.
