What you will do

• Lead and mentor a diverse engineering team to deliver high-quality, performant features for the hirify.global Elements platform.
• Collaborate with product, design, and architecture teams to define and execute the product roadmap.
• Guide the team in solving complex technical challenges and maintaining high standards for code quality, security, and maintainability.
• Balance hands-on technical contributions with strategic leadership and delegation.
• Foster a transparent, inclusive, and high-performing team culture.
• Advocate for best practices in CI/CD, testing, and clean architecture.

Requirements

• Proven track record of leading engineering teams in fast-paced, global environments.
• Strong technical background in JavaScript, TypeScript, Node.js, and React.
• Experience with cloud-native environments (AWS serverless preferred), microservices, and event-driven architectures.
• Proficiency in architectural documentation and design patterns.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to mentor engineers at various career stages.
• Must be based in or able to work from Dublin, Ireland.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Rust, Dart, or Go.
• Experience building developer tools such as CLIs, SDKs, and developer portals.
