What you will do

• Execute technology audits covering SOX compliance, cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP), cybersecurity, and AI/ML systems.
• Design and test IT general controls (ITGC), application controls, and entity-level controls.
• Manage the IT SOX program from planning and risk-based audit planning through reporting and coordination with external providers.
• Own remediation efforts by partnering with process owners to implement and validate practical corrective action plans.
• Collaborate with Engineering, IT Operations, and Security teams to evaluate emerging risks and new system implementations.
• Utilize data analytics and generative AI tools to enhance audit quality, coverage, and efficiency.

Requirements

• Experience executing technology audits and risk management in complex technology environments.
• Proven track record supporting IT SOX programs and designing/testing IT general and application controls.
• Knowledge of control frameworks such as COBIT, NIST, ITIL, ISO 27001, and COSO.
• Understanding of cloud security principles, network security, and Zero Trust architecture.
• Experience with Agile, DevOps, and audit automation tools.
• Must be based in Canada or the United States.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, IT, Computer Science, or Finance, plus an active professional certification (e.g., CPA, CIA, CISA, CISSP, CISM, or CRISC).
