What you will do

• Own month-end and quarter-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
• Manage accounting for specific scopes, such as G&A (cash, payroll, benefits) or S&M (leases, capitalized software, fixed assets).
• Prepare monthly and quarterly flux analyses and comprehensive reporting packages.
• Partner cross-functionally with business stakeholders to provide accounting guidance and support initiatives.
• Utilize AI tools like Claude or ChatGPT to automate manual tasks and accelerate the close process.
• Support annual financial audits and maintain a strong SOX-compliant internal control environment.

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience with hands-on ownership of the month-end close process.
• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and accrual accounting.
• Proficiency with NetSuite or equivalent ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query and complex formulas.
• Must be based in the United States.

Nice to have

• 4+ years of experience in a high-growth SaaS company or public accounting.
• Experience operating within SOX and public company control environments.
• CPA certification or being an active CPA candidate.
• Proficiency with Numeric, Zip, Ramp, or Navan.
