Head of People Operations

Location: Remote within the US, with a Bay Area focus; occasional travel for team offsites and key meetings.

What you will do

• Design and implement scalable HR processes to support rapid growth.
• Own the employee experience from onboarding through retention, engagement, and performance.
• Build frameworks for compensation, benefits, and performance management.
• Lead Talent Acquisition strategy and initiatives.
• Implement and manage HR systems while ensuring compliance and operational efficiency.
• Partner with executives to strengthen connectedness, culture, and organizational priorities.

Requirements

• 6+ years of People Operations or HR experience, including leadership experience in a high-growth startup or fintech.
• Experience building scalable People programs, HR infrastructure, and operational processes from the ground up.
• Experience leading Talent Acquisition and developing recruiting strategies.
• Experience building and leading high-performing teams.
• Strong process-building, execution, data-driven decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
