HR Operations Lead

Location: Remote, candidates must be based in China

A mobile-first insurance and financial services platform expanding products for spending, saving, investing, exchanging, and travel across Southeast Asia.

What you will do

• Own HR operations across the employee lifecycle, including onboarding, transfers, promotions, and offboarding.
• Build and improve scalable HR processes, policies, and SOPs across multiple countries.
• Oversee HR systems, employee records, reporting, and data governance.
• Coordinate payroll, benefits administration, employment documentation, and statutory compliance with local partners and EOR providers.
• Improve operational efficiency through process redesign, automation, and system improvements.
• Lead and develop the HR Operations function while partnering with leadership on global expansion.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in HR Operations, People Operations, or HR Administration.
• Experience supporting employees across multiple countries or regions.
• Strong knowledge of global HR operations, employment documentation, payroll coordination, HR systems, and compliance.
• Experience building and improving HR processes in a fast-growing company.
• Strong operational, communication, and stakeholder management skills with high attention to detail.
• Strong English communication is required; candidates must already be based in China.
